v0.1 · built in SA

Licence & Commercial Use

Version: 0.1.0 Last Updated: May 2026

end

The short version

You bought AgentZero. You own a perpetual commercial licence to the source code. You can:

  • ›✅ Use it for unlimited commercial and personal projects
  • ›✅ Modify it any way you want
  • ›✅ Deploy it to your own infrastructure
  • ›✅ Sell access to applications built on it
  • ›✅ Keep it private (no obligation to open-source your fork)
  • ›✅ Receive lifetime updates

You cannot:

  • ›❌ Resell AgentZero itself as a competing template or boilerplate
  • ›❌ Sublicence the source code to other developers
  • ›❌ Republish the source publicly (e.g. push your fork to a public GitHub repo)
  • ›❌ Remove the licence file from your fork

That's the entire substance. The long version below covers the edge cases.

end

The long version

What you're buying

A perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to the AgentZero source code in its current and all future versions during your purchase window.

"Perpetual" means: once you've paid, you can keep using it forever. Your access doesn't expire. You don't owe future fees.

"Non-exclusive" means: we keep selling AgentZero to other developers too. You don't get exclusivity.

"Non-transferable" means: the licence is tied to your purchase. You can't sell, gift, or transfer your licence to another individual or company. (One licence covers one developer or one company, see below.)

end

Who counts as one licence?

Solo developer: one licence covers you and any unlimited number of projects you ship under your own name or businesses you own.

Small team / startup (≤10 employees): one licence covers your whole company. Every project your team ships counts.

Larger company (>10 employees): contact us at hello@boileragent.dev for team pricing. We're flexible — there isn't a public price list, we just want to know who's using it.

Agencies: one licence covers projects you build for your own clients. Each project ships under your agency's licence — your clients don't need their own. If the client wants the source code to maintain it independently, they need their own licence.

end

What you can do

Build products and charge for them. Your customers pay you. We get nothing. The price you set, the revenue model you choose, the SLAs you offer — all yours.

White-label it. Strip every reference to AgentZero. Rebrand the codebase under your own name. We'd appreciate a credit somewhere if you feel like it, but it's not required.

Modify the source. Rewrite anything. Remove features. Replace the database. Swap the AI provider. The code is yours to mutate.

Use it as your boilerplate. Spin up multiple separate products from the same codebase. Each is a fresh fork; each is covered by your single licence.

Host the source privately. Push your fork to a private GitHub repo, GitLab, Bitbucket, your own Git server. As long as it's private to your team, that's fine.

end

What you cannot do

Sell AgentZero itself. You cannot package the source code (modified or not) as a competing template, boilerplate, or starter kit. The thing we sell is a developer template — you can't resell the template, just products built on it.

Sublicence the source. You cannot give or sell the source code to another developer or company. They have to buy their own licence.

Publish the source publicly. No pushing the source to a public GitHub repo, posting it to a forum, sharing it in a Discord, uploading to a code marketplace. Private forks only.

Train AI models on it. You cannot use the source as training data for an AI model that will then be made available to others.

Remove the licence file. Keep LICENSE.md in the root of your fork. You can add your own licence on top for derivative work, but ours stays.

end

Refunds

14-day refund, no questions asked. Email hello@boileragent.dev. We don't argue, we don't ask why, we don't make you fill out a form. You keep the ZIP — we trust you to delete it and stop using the code.

After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. If a major bug is blocking you from using the product and we can't fix it in a reasonable time, we'll refund. If you just changed your mind three months in, probably not.

end

Updates

Every buyer gets lifetime updates to all versions of AgentZero released after their purchase date. This includes:

  • ›Bug fixes
  • ›Security patches
  • ›Model version migrations (e.g. Claude 4.6 → 4.7)
  • ›New features
  • ›New tools added to the registry
  • ›Breaking changes (we'll tag them clearly in the changelog)

Delivered via email — every release ships a fresh ZIP to the address you bought with. Merge into your fork on your own schedule, or skip a release if you've customised heavily.

end

Support

One founder, one email: hello@boileragent.dev.

Reasonable response time: <24 hours on weekdays. We're not a support team, we're one person who shipped this and wants you to succeed with it.

In-scope:

  • ›Bugs in AgentZero itself
  • ›Questions about how the architecture works
  • ›Help interpreting the docs
  • ›Stuck on deployment for >30 min

Out-of-scope (we'll politely redirect):

  • ›Debugging your custom code
  • ›General Next.js / Supabase / TypeScript questions
  • ›Architecture advice for your specific product
end

Warranty disclaimer

AgentZero is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We've shipped it, we use it ourselves, we maintain it actively — but we can't promise it's free of bugs, security flaws, or behaviour you don't expect.

Use it at your own risk. If you're shipping to paying customers, do your own security review, your own load testing, your own legal review of how you handle their data.

We're not liable for damages arising from your use of the code. If a bug in the credit guard accidentally lets a customer rack up a $10k OpenAI bill, that's between you and OpenAI — not us.

end

Questions?

Anything ambiguous in here, just ask: hello@boileragent.dev. We'd rather answer your question once than have you guessing.

This licence is written in plain language because legal jargon hides ambiguity. If you want a formal document for your legal team, email us and we'll send a PDF version.
